This is a woodworking drill designed for shallow through holes. By setting a drill stopper (sold separately), it allows for drilling holes of a consistent depth. It comes in a wide range of standard sizes from 3mm to 50mm.
The triangular type that goes in as much as you push is convenient for stopping holes!
The drill tip is a triangular type, allowing the drill to penetrate as much as the applied thrust (pushing force), so you can stop at your desired depth. Since it is a triangular type, it is recommended for drilling holes with a drill press.
